Joints in reinforced concrete structures are inevitable part of any construction method. Joints are designed and built in inside a structure to counter the effect of movements that happens in a structure between materials of similar or dissimilar characteristics due to shrinkage and thermal variations. Invariably every joint in a structure must be sealed to prevent ingress of moisture and corrosive substances through the joint and also to enable free movement of joints. DicoTech specializes in application of various types of sealants such as one component polysulphide, and two component polyurethanes, epoxy, polyether, polyurea and bitumen based formulations. Besides joint sealants we also specialize in application of other types of joint sealing systems such as joint over banding waterproofing membranes, compression seals etc. Over the years DicoTech have acquired immense expertise in sealing joints in new structures and repair of damaged joints in old structures. We have successfully developed methodologies for sealing water leakages through expansion joints, resealing of joints, repair of damaged joints etc.
